A new payment method has been introduced for Benazir Income Support Program beneficiaries. Now, instead of taking cash from agents or retailers, money will be deposited directly into their bank accounts. This change is made to free beneficiaries from the monopoly of agents and retailers.
The accounts will be opened at the camp sites in each district where the payments are being distributed. The process consists of four steps:
- The beneficiary will have to bring their original, non-expired National Identity Card (CNIC) and a mobile phone and ensure that they have less than five registered SIM cards.
- They will undergo a screening to verify that they are an active beneficiary.
- A new biometric SIM card will be issued in their name.
- They will have to choose a 4-digit secret PIN code for their account, which they should not share with anyone. An OTP will be sent to the new SIM card to activate the account.

Once the account is activated, funds will be transferred to it. Beneficiaries can then use the money to pay bills, transfer funds, or withdraw money as they wish. Account opening and SIM card are absolutely free.
The video discusses the Benazir Kafalat Program, a financial assistance program in Pakistan. It addresses a situation where payments to beneficiaries’ accounts were credited but then sent back, resulting in a zero balance. The speaker offers several potential reasons for this:
- Technical issues: A technical problem in the payment disbursement system may have caused the payments to be recalled.
- System changes: The government’s decision to change the payment method from retail shops to designated camps could be a reason. This change, which also involves setting up digital wallets, might have necessitated the recall of funds to be re-sent through the new system.
The speaker reassures viewers that most regular beneficiaries should not be worried about being disqualified. The returned payments are a temporary measure, and the government usually re-sends them within a few days after fixing the issue. It is expected that the payments will be re-issued within a week, possibly by the following Monday. The video also mentions that even those who have been disqualified will receive one final installment.
Additionally, the touches upon other aspects of the program:
- Children’s stipends: The speaker confirms that children’s education stipends have not been stopped and will be paid in double installments.
- 8171 web portal: The speaker explains that people may see conflicting information on the 8171 web portal and at payment devices because the portal has not been fully updated.
- New beneficiaries: Individuals who are newly qualified for the program will also receive a payment of 13,500 rupees. There is no current increase in the financial aid amount, but an increase is anticipated by January 2026.
- Dynamic survey: A new survey is mandatory for all beneficiaries who have been receiving payments for the past 3-4 years.
The speaker advises viewers to stay updated by checking the official 8171 web portal, as it is the most reliable source for information.
Naya Payment Method: 13,500 ki September installment dukano aur camps, dono jagahon par dastiyab hogi. Yeh tabdeeli un ilaqon mein ki gayi hai jo sailaab (floods) se mutasir hain jahan beghar afraad ki madad ke liye camps pehle se hi qaim hain. Jin districts mein sailaab ki shadeed (serious) situation nahi hai, wahan payments dukano par hi diye jayenge. Yeh faisla har district ki situation ke mutabiq kiya jayega.
PMT Score Check: PMT (Poverty Means Test) score check karne ki ability kuch districts mein dobara bahaal (restore) kar di gayi hai. Is se log samajh sakte hain ke unhein program ke liye kyun na-ahil (ineligible) samjha gaya tha. Aap apna PMT score BISP ki helpline 08002647 par contact kar ke check kar sakte hain ya online pages aur groups ke zariye bhi, agarche kuch is ke liye fees charge kar sakte hain.
Eligibility aur Status:
- Jin beneficiaries ko pehli payment January mein aur dusri July mein mili, unhein September ki installment milne ki tasdeeq (confirmation) ho gayi hai.
- Jin logon ka status “dynamic registration” show ho raha hai, woh ahal (eligible) hain aur unhein payment milegi, khas tor par agar unhein pehle koi installment mil chuki hai. Lekin, agar unhein aakhri payment 20 August ke baad mili thi, to unki agay ki payment mein deri ho sakti hai.
- Jin ka status “eligible” show ho raha hai, unhein yeh installment zaroor milegi.
- Agar aap ko na-ahil qarar diya gaya hai, to aap ke bachon ke taleemi wazaif (educational stipends) bhi band kar diye jayenge. Dobara ahal hone ka wahid tareeqa yeh hai ke aap agle saal tak intizar karein ya aap ka PMT score behtar ho.
Status Kaise Check Karein: Aap apna status aur eligibility official 8171 web portal par ja kar check kar sakte hain. Aap ko apna CNIC number bina dashes ke aur four-digit code enter karna hoga.
Payment Date: Nai installment ki expected payment date 19 September hai. Lekin, is date mein izafa (extension) ho sakta hai kyunke BISP aur Wazir-e-Azam Shahbaz Sharif ki taraf se final faisla aana abhi baqi hai ke sailaab se mutasir logon ki raahat ke funds alag se diye jayenge ya BISP installment ke sath.
