From the Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal Department, the Himmat Card Online Registration 2025 has officially been launched.

Now, how should you apply for this program, and what is the eligibility criteria for the Himmat Card? In today’s video, I will explain the complete process—how to apply and what requirements you need to fulfill.

Friends, open the official website of the Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal Department in any internet browser. You will see this interface. Here, you’ll find the option for Welfare Services. Click on it, and all the available welfare services will be displayed. The second-last option is related to the Himmat Card—click on it.

After clicking, this interface will appear. You can see that they have briefly explained the Himmat Card. Under this card, the government will provide different services, along with a stipend of Rs. 500 every three months. Later on, more government services will also be provided through the Himmat Card.

Eligibility criteria for the Himmat Card:

  1. PWD (Person with Disability) must be certified by Social Welfare Punjab.
    – This means you must be registered as a disabled person with the Social Welfare Department Punjab, with a proper computerized certificate.
  2. PWD must be declared “Not Fit to Work.”
    – The certificate issued by Social Welfare must state that you are “Not Fit to Work.”
  3. PWD must not be employed in government or private offices.
  4. PWD must not have recently received any grant from Bait-ul-Mal, Zakat Fund, or BISP (Benazir Income Support Program).
    – Also, your PMT score (from BISP registration) must be less than 45.
  5. PWD basic data must be updated – including name, address, mobile number, education, and experience.

If you fulfill these conditions, then you are eligible for the Himmat Card.


How to Register as a PWD (Person with Disability)

Now the question is: how to get registered as a disabled person?

  • Visit the DHQ hospital of your district for a medical examination and disability verification.
  • Then, go to the Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal Department office with your medical certificate for registration.
  • If you are above 18 years of age, you must also have a disability CNIC from NADRA.
  • After this, you must also register with the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP). Visit the BISP office, where they will complete your registration as a disabled person.

Once all conditions are fulfilled, your data will be verified. After verification, you will be issued the Himmat Card.


Who Can Apply for the Himmat Card?

First of all, friends, let’s see who is eligible:

  • All disabled persons are eligible, regardless of age.
  • Whether male, female, child, young, or old — if you are disabled, you can apply.

Step 1: CNIC / B-Form Requirement

  • If you are 18 years or older, you must have your CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card).
  • If you are under 18, then you must first have your B-Form made.
    • For a child, first obtain the birth certificate, then apply for the B-Form.

Step 2: Disability File

  • After that, you must create a Disability File.
  • You can get this file from any local net shop or download the form online, print it, and fill it out.
  • Attach required documents:
    • A full-size photo of the disabled person,
    • A passport-size photo,
    • And the supporting documents (CNIC, B-Form, etc.).
  • Submit this complete file at the Social Welfare Office.

Step 3: Medical Board Verification

  • After submission, you will later receive a call from the hospital in your district/tehsil (DHQ, THQ, or BHU).
  • On the given date, you must take the disabled person for a medical examination.
  • The medical board (doctors) will check and confirm if the person is genuinely disabled.
  • If verified, a Disability Certificate/Card will be issued.
  • Only after receiving this certificate can you apply for the Himmat Card.

Benefits of the Himmat Card

Once eligible, you will be able to get facilities such as:

  • Free travel in government transport,
  • Tax concessions,
  • And other special government benefits.

Step 4: Applying for the Himmat Card Online

There are two ways to apply:

  2. By downloading the mobile application and applying from your phone.

When applying online, you must fill in:

  • Your Name,
  • Email ID,
  • Select your identification document (CNIC, B-Form, or Birth Certificate),
  • Enter the document number,
  • Provide your phone number,
  • Select your province and medical board division for verification.

After registration, your data will go through several verification stages.


Checking Himmat Card Status Online

  • You can also track the status of your Himmat Card online.
  • Enter your CNIC number or B-Form number to check progress.
  • Example: when submitted, the system will show stages such as:
    • Field Verification,
    • DD Verification,
    • Director Verification,
    • Bank of Punjab Processing,
    • And finally Card Issued.
